Who handles your information

Sumaiya Khanum, Proprietor trading as SameDay Gadgets, handles the details you provide for your order or enquiry. Contact us using the details below.

Information and purposes

We receive the name, contact number, email address, products, selected store, messages and delivery address or pincode you provide. If you create an account, we also keep your wishlist and order history. Your password is stored in scrambled (hashed) form; we cannot see it. We use these details for order fulfilment and customer support only, and retain records where required by law. Authorised store staff access information needed for their work.

Cookies

When you log in, we set one cookie that keeps you logged in for up to 30 days. It is needed for login only. We do not use advertising cookies.

Marketing and analytics

Placing an order or making an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing. Marketing requires your separate consent. Order confirmation and order update emails are part of your order, not marketing. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are popular. It does not use cookies and does not identify you.

Service providers

• OpenAI Sites provides website hosting and database storage.
• Resend sends order confirmation and order update emails.
• Cloudflare Web Analytics counts website visits without cookies.
• Google Fonts supplies the website fonts; loading them can send technical request information to Google.
• WhatsApp handles conversations you choose to start through our WhatsApp links, under its own privacy terms. We do not automatically start a WhatsApp conversation when you submit an order.

Data requests and retention

Email samedaygadgets@gmail.com to request access, correction or deletion of your details. We may verify that a request relates to you. Deletion is subject to legally required retention; records that must be retained are kept for those obligations, and other information is kept only as needed for fulfilment and support.
